Kiwix zim RSS feed

Kiwix is a awesome tool to have website content offline available. Kiwix uses so called ‘zim files’, which contain offline copies of a site.

The zim farm (https://farm.openzim.org/pipeline/filter-done) is responsible for creating such files. However, having to manually check each time the page if new files are available can be tedious.

That’s why I created a RSS feed that you can add to your news reader, so you get notified when new files are available. The feed can be found here: https://randomize.be/rss/zimfarm.rss . It poll the site every 5 minutes to show the 20 latest completed runs. A complete list of custom rss feeds for sites that don’t have it can be found here: https://randomize.be/rss/
